Why Dubai schools require a tenancy contract

What schools accept (and don't)
- Accepted: Ejari-registered DLD Unified Tenancy Contract v1.4 in parent's or spouse's name
- Accepted: Title deed if parent owns the home
- Accepted: Letter from sponsor/employer if living in employer-provided accommodation (rare)
- Not accepted: Custom lease agreements not registered on Ejari
- Not accepted: Verbal rental arrangements
- Not accepted: Expired Ejari certificates
- Not accepted: Contract in someone else's name (unless that person is your sponsor)

Common problems
- Contract in spouse's name only: Most schools accept if you provide marriage certificate
