Important Rules

  • Landlord must give 90 days written notice before any rent increase.
  • Notice given less than 90 days before renewal is invalid — rent stays the same.
  • Rent cannot be increased mid-contract — only at renewal.

  • Increases above this cap can be refused and challenged at the RERA Rental Dispute Centre.
