Dubai occupancy rules
- Studio: max 2 adults
- 1BHK: max 2 adults
- 2BHK: max 4 adults
- 3BHK: max 6 adults
- Building rules may be stricter
Sharing Accommodation Permit (SAP)
Some Dubai buildings require SAP for unrelated adults sharing. Contact property management first. Marina, JBR, Business Bay typically allow standard sharing.
If one tenant wants to leave
- Joint: remaining find replacement or cover missing rent
- Several: leaving tenant pays their share until replaced
- Amendment: new contract with revised list + re-Ejari
- 60 days written notice minimum
